About MybodyMyworship

Our Mission

Through teaching, prayer, and music, MybodyMyworship inspires spiritual acts of worship (Romans 12:1) by teaching biblically sound science of sexual integrity (1 Corinthians 6:19) and psychological effects of abortion (Psalm 32:3).

What We Do

We provide Christian courses that teach the meaning of worship in Romans 12:1-2 in the context of 1 Corinthians 6:19.

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:1-2 NASB

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19 NASB

We consider abortion a spiritual battle that requires us to worship the Lord in music, word, and body.

We believe the Lord will move in the politics of abortion when Christians humble themselves, pray, seek God's face, stop having abortions, and turn from sexual immorality (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Our approach to ending abortion is through educating and leading Christians in worshiping through music, word, and sexual integrity.

Our courses are for all generations. Most of us are not old enough to remember the U.S. politics of the 1960s, so most of us were raised in a society that legally allows abortions. We need to reeducate ourselves about just how important the lives of babies and their parents are to God.

My body. My choice? MybodyMyworship!

The pro-choice movement says, “My body. My choice.” We say it’s my body and therefore my choice to worship the Lord in purityhence MybodyMyworship. Our worship and our bodies are intertwined. There are many ways to worshipwith hymns, on our knees, with lifted hands, even dancing. But Christians should also worship with their whole bodies in a Levitical sense, meaning that they should be pure before the Lord and not conform to this world. We get this from Romans 12:1-2.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one God, revealed in the Bible as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:13).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe He came down from heaven, fully God, and became man. We believe He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on a cross to provide for our redemption, physically rose from the dead, returned to heaven, and will come back to earth (John 1:1, 14; Luke 1:26-38; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Luke 7:21-22; Matthew 28:6; John 20:17; Acts 1:9-11; Acts 17:31).

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is given to everyone who follows Jesus (John 16:13-14; Acts 2:38).

We believe that the Bible is God’s written revelation to the entire human race. We believe the Bible is inspired by God, authoritative, and without error in its original manuscripts (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; John 10:35; Matthew 5:18).

Cheryl Krichbaum

Cheryl Krichbaum

Cheryl Krichbaum, Founder and President of MybodyMyworship, had an abortion when she was 17, so she personally knows the psychological and spiritual effects of abortion and extra-marital sex. She has since been healed through the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

In 2017, Cheryl felt called to change the conversation about abortion. After choosing obedience over fear, she began teaching and writing about the sanctity of life and the sanctity of sex.

Her first book in the Faces of Abortion Series, ReTested: The Story of a Post-Abortive Woman Called to Change the Conversation, tells her own story of not following and then following Christ through her life tests.

Additional books will tell stories of many post-abortive women who have had abortions so that readers will understand how the abortion-minded think and so that we can all better understand the spiritual implications of abortion.
